All received cylinder covers are subjected to chemical cleaning and shot blasting before entering the inspection phase. This includes:

- Endoscopic inspection of internal bores
- Dye penetrant testing to detect surface cracks
- Issuance of a comprehensive technical report with recommended reconditioning steps
Reconditioning processes performed based on findings:
- CNC machining and submerged arc welding to restore o-ring grooves and seat surfaces to standard dimensions
- Full surface rebuilding of the combustion area, including crack removal, arc welding, and remachining of cooling and injector bores
- Localized repair of minor surface cracks in combustion and cooling zones
- Inconel cladding around injector hole areas to resist erosion from fuel spray
- Automated welding, preheating, and controlled heat treatment in annealing furnaces for structural integrity
